What is a G-Force 2 Ti?

A GeForce2 Ti uses the same GPU used on all previous GF2 cards, it's clocked at 250MHz core clockspeed- the same as the GF2 Ultra, but it's memory clock runs at 200MHz/400MHz DDR- the same as the Pro. In the real world it's roughly 2-3% faster then the GF2 Pro, due to how memory bandwidth limited the GF2 architecture is the 50MHz faster core clock is of little benefit.

One added slight difference, the GF2 Ti core is made on a .15u process, rather then the .18u process previously used for the GF2.

think of it like when nvidia shrunk the regular tnt2 (125 mhz clock) from a .25 micron process to a .22 (143 Mhz clock) process and called it tnt2Pro
