What is a "fluffer"?

I remember seeing a movie on HBO called Fluffer, and it dealt with gay porn stars and a camera guy. I've known what a fluffer is from that day on.

How degrading would it be to be so nasty that your co-star requires a hot woman to keep him up because you turn him off to such a great degree?

This is for longer periods of time. Set changes, camera changes, that sort of thing. They don't want to have to pay you to build back up for the money shot. 😉

ehh. keep in mind it's a job, you have 20 people on set, and a director telling you what to do and when to do it. Fluffers represent reality in an otherwise hyperbole filled depiction of "normal sex".
