Costs how much?

that wasn't the question now was it.

It's my question. Appears you have no good answer.

🙂

What would you like to upgrade then? Video card? Costs same as a PC. RAM? Costs same as a PC. HD? Same as a PC. Keyboard and mouse with more than one button (yes I'm a Mac user who hates one button mice)? Same as PC.
So do you have anything constructive to add to this discussion? Or do you need to continue this pointless Mac bashing?

Huh? My Vista workstation does more than boot the OS. Certainly more than any Mac out there.

wow, and they call mac users fanboys. Where does all this hate come from? No one even mentioned Macs and yet you felt threatened enough to mention it. Sheesh, talk about an inferiority complex.

Did you ever stop to think that the hate comes from the pc v mac ads? You know the ones full of lies, hate, and misinformation. I think the repugs are behind this one.

Out of curiosity, what can your Vista workstation do that any Mac can't?

Upgrade hardware?

Mac Pro?

Costs how much?

Far too much for me to afford. But that neither answers my pedantry or supports Looney's statement. I'm still curious as to what this amazing Vista workstation can do.

I'm looking at the chart on the link, and it doesn't say anywhere that Dell is selling computers that will just load Vista, and not run programs. That chart is supposed to tell you if YOUR computer will handle Vista, and what Dell recommends you get.
