I'll probably be doing computer tech service. So which is a better place to work? and what kind of discounts would I get working there?

If you work at any of these let me know!

Bestbuy discount is cost + 10%.

And you usually get to get first dibs on many of the deals (IE: Black Friday). I believe your employee discount begins after 30 days.

Don't know much about Frys though, I wouldn't want to work there :(

IF you work at BB though, be prepared to attempt to sell Warrenty's to everything including brick walls on account of the fact that your job will depend on it.

Fry's floor salesmen work on comission, AND have to push the stupid warranties. At least at best buy you don't have to worry about comission.

Also the cashiers at fry's get a certain percentage of the items they process.

I dunno, Fry's has like, 100 employees at a time, and just seems like an awful place. Plus I hate Fry's even more than Best Buy. It pisses me off to be there, the atmosphere and customer service is massively irritating. When I walk into Fry's, I'm super fly TNT, I'm the guns of the Naverone, I'm what Jimmy Walker talked about.

PSST - CC is cost.

i've worked at fry's, i was a cashier but this was before the commission. it wasn't bad - the lifers are nice. the sups are nice. the customers suck.

as for CC, i worked in cust. service and it wasn't that bad, just hassles with getting people to return stuff with receipts or finding their stupid receipt...

This one BB employee I knew would buy stuff for EVERYONE using the discount, I seriously don't know how they didn't catch on.

They don't track purchases. Well, at least they didn't when I worked there.
