What is a better card for games a Geforce 1 with DDR ram or a geforce 2 mx

generally the same..w/ the mx-200 that is...tho u can get really low end mx200s that have crap ram that runs default of like 150mhz...

anyway, an mx-400 would be a gf SDR...

now, do u mean GF1 SDR or DDR?...DDR will be fsater than both the MX-200 and 400

DDR is faster than MX at higher resolutions. At lower resolutions they are about the same.

GF1 DDR is better hands down.

Geforce2 MX os quite week. all the so called "DDR" MX cards have a 64bit mem bus, so they are essentially SDR. GeforceDDR is like 20% slower then GTS in decent resolutions (1024x768+)

Id say if yer buying a card, get nothing less then a GF2 GTS .. unless you can get a GF1 DDR for less then 50 bucks.
