Hey everyone :)

At this point I have had a silverstone sg10 case for quite awhile, its a dusty mess but i'm looking upgrade to my power supply as right now its a total mess due to the long length of my aging non modular corsair gs500

So yea quite a mess indeed :( i'll have to tie down the other cables eventually

My current pc specs are: Intel 3570k, Asus Maximus V Gene, Patriot 16gb DDR3 @ 1866, Samsung 256gb msata SSD *yea i know the adapter only runs at sata 2 :( *, Intel AC 7260 mpcie, 2x Seagate 4tb, and a bunch of other drives laying around

I'd like to get at least a single gpu *preferably the gigabyte mini 970*, i'm too poor for a sli setup at this time :(

Anyways i'm looking for around a 750 watt full modular version with flat short cables *or a semi modular that isn't a pain to deal with*....so far i've considered the newer silverstone sx600g but have heard some negatives about the model including coil whine *apparently fixed with a burn-in* and cheap caps....there is also the antec edge but i'm a tad concerned about the space as my max is 180mm. The corsair psu has a led which i love due to the mesh front, if I got the antec i'd like to tear apart and mod the fan to make it green or simply replace it....an led in front isn't necessary but it is just nice to see as its easier than simply putting in a long led strip across the front face

I'm hoping to get something built by seasonic *http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page541.htm* due to their good track record, as for 80+ gold should be good enough

As for what I need it for i'm just looking for upgrade room as psus tend to degrade over time....obviously i'm not going to use that much wattage but a little overkill never hurts :)

Besides i use this thing for a little bit of everything

There is also an issue with the extension cable blocking the installation of a 120mm side fan due to the orientation of the plug causing the thing to hang towards the bottom of the case *if it could can be avoided that'd be awesome, or rather mod the plug by 180 if it comes to that again...assuming its possible without damaging the unit*

Thanks ahead of time if anyone takes the time to read this long post and offer suggestions
