What internet providers do they have in connecticutt?

I might be getting a job in conn. What internet providers do you have over there? I tried dsl reports and all it gave me is 'myeastern cable'. WTF? Don't you guys have comcast cable or verizon dsl (PLEASE TELL ME YOU GUYS ARE GETTING VERIZON FIBER OPTIC CONNECTIONS SOON)?

The places i'm looking into are new haven, hartford, waterbury, southbury...

OOL is offered in NY/NJ/CT. I wonder if that means in all parts of CT. If so, you're very lucky.

I guess that your IBM interview went well. Congrats on that!

I believe that Southbury has Comcast for cable. Woodbury (Southbury's neighbor to the North) has Charter, and some of the towns around Waterbury have Cablevision/Optimum Online.

The entire state sees to have SBC (Or an SBC owned company, like SNET or Woodbury Telephone) for local phone service, which offers SBC Yahoo DSL.

Oh, and I've already WARNED you about Waterbury... Just get that thought outta your head, man 🙂

Damnit, i guess you guys aren't going to get fiber optic from SBC are you? 🙁

BTW, whats better, Comcast or optonline?

Well, it went well, but there's a 2nd interview and i don't know if i get a chance at a 2nd interview yet... hopefully i do.

If you have a phone number and physical address (just pick one in the same neighborhood and city) go to GetConnected.com and they will show which broadband is available for that location.

Hope that helps 🙂
