one question ? why does task manager show network utilization at or below 50% most of thew time. mostly like 33 or 15 % . is there a way to speed up my utiliztion ?

any pentium D will be okay for you, even though an E6300 would destroy any cpu that has the name pentium in it.

There are free software available to play DVD movies. One (out of probably many) is Media Player Classic.

I think that you need the DRM codes to play back DVDs, those only come with lisenced DVD players like PowerDVD etc. as there is a small charge for each lisence used. Once the codes are on your computer they can be used by WMP etc. but WMP does not have them itself.
