What instrument(s) do you play and how long have you played it?

i played the saxophone for about 9 years, i was fairly good for the last few years but i havent played in years.
 
Bass, guitar, drums, little piano, little violin, and played brass all thru school.....
 
I played trumpet for 7 years and was good enough to make All-State as a senior in high school and was 2 for 2 on outstanding soloist awards. Not sure where that puts my level of expertise in the grand scheme, though.
 
I started out on trumpet and then switched to tuba. I'm terrible at trumpet but I was very good at tuba when I still played it.
 
Baritone / Trombone - 14 years (very seldom, anymore)
Piano - 8 years
Acoustic Guitar - 4 years
Electric Guitar - 1.5 Years
 
Piano for 15 years, trumpet for about 8, sax, baritone...

Made lead trumpet in a internationally-reknown city band, lead in school concert/jazz bands, 1st trumpet in provincial school band.

Not bad.
 
played the flute for 2 years. I eventually quit because I was horrible... that combined with a crippling inability to read sheet music.
 
drums for about 5 years now, did mainly marching and classical, but working on getting some mean set skills going.
also i play trombone. I'm not sure why i picked trombone, but i play it.
 
piano -10 years played (havent played in 10 years as well) -intend on playing again when I either buy a house and have room for a piano or more likely soon getting a digital piano/high end keyboard.
Alto Sax -2 years playeed (havent played in 12 years)
Drums -4 years (currently playing)
Guitar -5 years (currently playing also played for 1 year about 10 years ago)
Hand drums/djembe (7 years off and on)
 
I played French Horn for 8 years and got pretty good at it.

I've played the piano for the last 18 years and I'm still pretty good at it. I think I can sight-read quite well. Getting the discipline to practice, however, is another story.

I started playing the organ for church about three years ago. It's just like the piano, except the pedal likes to move around a lot. 🙂

And although not a legitimate instrument, my singing voice gets a lot of time out of me due to my involvement with the Houston Symphony Chorus.
