Ed "Strangler" Lewis, the creator of the sleeper hold, grew up in my home town. Other than that, absolutely nothing.

Not quite infamous, but very rare: two houses were hit by meteorites. The meteorites were about 8 years apart.

And luckily no fatalities or injuries.
