What IM program do you use?

trillian here. Supposedly you can hack it to support google talk and someday it will officially support it. Trillian is all the chat program anyone needs.

it not a hack, it actually works. Google has a setup for it too.

Yup. Nice and small option to connect to AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, and IRC all at the same time. Compared to the bloat you'd have to put up with to connect to those programs all at the same time with alternatives - or heaven forbid all five of the actual programs themselves - Trillian is the ultimate solution. You're available on all of the biggest IM systems on the internet at the same time, manage one buddylist for all of them (that is highly organizable), and is packed full of features to use or ignore without so much that it just turns into bloat.

It's small, skinnable (with LOADS of skins out there), highly customizable.

I love Trillian.
