I guess no one other than Jews died in WWII... so he would probably be seen as a cool dude.

The question, though, is hard to answer because it's like asking, "How would history treat Nixon if Watergate hadn't happened?" You want us to change something so fundamental to the person's character that they might as well be an entirely different person. The Holocaust and Hitler and inextricably linked. There is no separating out the two, though without Hitler there certainly would have been another general war in Europe in the 1930s - 1950s. Hitler was an extremely lucky opportunist who took advantage of an awful situation to promote himself and his agenda. The non-racial side of his agenda, though, wasn't anything unique: the conclusion of The Great War did not sufficiently solve the systemic problems that existed in Europe and a German leader would have almost certainly emerged to try and capitalize on that.

Anyway, if we somehow suspend belief and 'separate' the Holocaust from Hitler, the question is still too vague. Without tying up manpower and resources ferrying around and murdering people, Hitler may have actually won the war. Heck, in Western Russia the Germans were treated as liberators until they started massacring everyone. Not only would the Germans not have had to tie down garrison units, but they probably could have even recruited Slavs to fight the Russians. While they would have lost out on the forced labor, they may have actually benefited from having laborers who genuinely wanted to help the Germans.

Obviously, if Hitler won the war, German history would treat him as a savior. We would probably still perceive him, regardless of the outcome, as a brutal dictator bent on world conquest.
