What if the Russians invaded the US? How many of the MAGAhatters would side with the invading forces and aid and abet them, and even take up arms against US forces?

We know there many of the MAGA wing of the GQP are supporting Putin's invasion of Ukraine, would they sew a hammer and sickle on their confederate battle flag or Trump flag and march on Washington, again...

For one, Russia wouldn’t need to invade us, they just need to keep doing what they’ve been doing and we’ll have the right attempting to overthrow this country again by force.

The question is; will we be as strong as ukraine to stop it?

If Putin and Trump said they were saving them from the communist globohomo groomer pedophiles I think you’d see a lot of volunteers to fight aside the Russians. There could be an entire rascal scooter BTG.

More Democrats would run away and hide.

Of course there is a big difference between saying you will and actually doing it.

Stay and fight:
Republicans - 68%
Democrats - 40%

While 45 percent of men between the ages of 18 and 34 said they would stay and fight, that number increased to 57 percent for those in the 35-49 age range and to 66 percent in the 50-64 age range. Also, 40 percent of women said they would fight, compared to 70 percent of men.

Looking at political affiliation, Republicans were more likely to say they would stay and fight, with 68 percent saying they would do so, as opposed to 40 percent of Democrats.

From a poll it appears you are incorrect. More Democrats would run away and hide.

Did they say what side they'll fight on?

That wasn’t even the question so I’m unsure how you think he’s incorrect.

Well folks.... it was fun while it lasted. Our democracy that is....
We got some 200+ years out of it, but a good thing can't last forever.
After it all comes to an end and America turned into a dictatorial shit-hole where truth has died and propaganda abounds, maybe.... just maybe one day, many decades from now, an individual will rise out of the ashes who preaches freedom and liberty for all. And maybe a few individuals believing the same will sit down and write a constitution of sorts. And maybe enough people will believe in that constitution. And maybe, just maybe the people will rise from the dust to create a new land. A new nation. Something called ???

But then, 200 years will pass, and another man will come along, a man of great deceit who will hate the 200 years of democracy, and thus will con this new fragile nation called ??? into the land of his own making. And the people will be fooled because they have never seen such a man before. They have never seen such hair before. Plus, the guy once hosted his own TV game show. And.... it begins again.

operating under the assumption that R’s are honest and not just a bunch of loud mouth Americans, cool story bro. I’d just look at their front man for that beacon of truth.

I think it depends how long you leave Fox news et al on air.

Imprison them before they can mount an effective misinformation campaign, I think there would there be legions lining up to finally use their tacticool civvy weapons on some foreigners.

I don't think many Trumpists would side with the Russians, believe it or not. Don't get me wrong, they frequently cozy up to Putin right now... but there's a history of these conservatives having their illusions shattered when reality arrives at their doorstep.

The classic example is the pandemic denier who regrets their anti-mask/vax stance after they've been hospitalized. You can also look to the trucker protests in Canada. Many of those people swore they'd hold out to the bitter end, and were convinced they could end pandemic mandates or even topple the government — but they folded like cards when faced with the real prospects of criminal charges, running out of funds, and a lack of public support.

I would expect similar in this scenario. It's easy to echo Trump's fondness for Putin when there's very little danger besides some Russian hacks. It'd be another thing entirely if the Russians shell your kid's school and threaten time in a prison camp for complaining about it.

Democrats steal the next election, you bet your ass Republicans will ask Putin to help set things right.
"But we didn't"
You think that matters?
All they need to do is think fake news. That leads to thinking fake elections. That leads to needing to use force. Calling for help to use said force.

Some of them are already "there", in that head space. They will help lead the rest to similar conclusions.

Exactly. When you are already willing to overthrow democracy, once you’ve done that there isn’t some magical red line that they suddenly won’t cross.

You shouldn't be drinking milk anyway ... unless you're a baby cow.

You do know more than cows make milk, right? I get you think you're saying something smart, but you really aren't.

Also guessing you're full of shit and eat cheese, and probably consume whey protein from cow milk in various forms, all whilst dropping such brilliant comments as that.
