Very easy, but like I said, its psychological effects would far outweigh the casualties. Weapons-grade radioactives are hard to come by, but much less active nuclides are pretty easy to get... even steal.

would we hear explosions before the bomb hit? Would there be a flash on the building right before the bomb hit?

There have been plots in movies of attacks happening during public sporting events in stadiums and such. And the superbowl is only aroung 40 days away.

If say a nuclear bomb were to go off during the superbowl what impact do you think that would have on normal life? on the middle east? on martial law?

I personally think that if something like this were to happen, Iran would be blamed, martial law would be enforced, and everybody's worst nightmares would come true.

The arabs would never take so many of their own out by nuking Detroit. Dearborn borders it.

I hope you are kidding... Can you say Jordan?

No, not kidding at all. If you lived here, you would understand what I am saying. Sure they kill themselves freely in the middle east, but Dearborn is their new Mecca.

If they were smart they would use a few dozes of low yelding chemical bombs with hints of color. The bombs themselves might only kill a handful of people in the stadium but the panic and the rush to get away from the stadium would probably kill loads more.

I think a shrapnel bomb housed in a blimp undercarriage detonated over a football stadium during the Super Bowl is more likely.

i think if it happened, our country would be left with no choice but to level the middle east.

I'm afraid that our country is already to late...we needed to get a tighter grip on terrorim in the 80's and 90's...years before something like we have now....

People expect we can just fix it within a couple of years.

Of course the fact that the terrorist woud probably be mugged and have the nuke stolen from them before they get to the stadium puts the odds in our favor. ;)

You're overestimating the price of a nuclear bomb by at least 100X.[/quote]

I don't know about that... You've got to have a reactor to get the fissionable material. You can't steal it and you can't buy it. I just don't see how Mr. New-Kid-on-the-nuclear-block could get the weapons grade plutonium without a reactor. I checked Ebay and I couldn't find anything decent.;)

What if a nuke goes off at the superbowl?

Someone will come on here and post:
"I cant believe that we are going to fight back. now even more lives will be lost"

What if a nuke goes off at the superbowl?

The average IQ in America will shoot up a few points, doubly so for a NASCAR hit.

Listen to Meuge... for he knows of what he speaks.
'Dirty bombs' are pitifully ineffective.
They've been tested by every major military power and dismissed by all.

Been done - Tom Clancy, Sum of all Fears. Better in print than on the screen.
