Depends...do I know victim or assailant? Do I think the victim DESERVES to be killed?

You know as well as I that in the elevator scenario you don't have time to fully assess the situation. You'd react one way or another as a person of action, whatever that action may be. You could have time to recognize one or both of the parties which could influence the turnout though.

Meh...odds are, I'd just ignore the goings on. Unless I know one or the other...or both, it's none of my business.

Is it my murder? Would be far more likely to act if I walked into my own murder in progress.

I think that's an incredibly dangerous prank. I can't say for certain, but at one point, the one guy said "help!" If I saw that cord around the guy's neck, again, can't say for certain, but I think the assailant would have done some time travel as I punted his head into next week. That position on the floor was just asking for that level of attack to protect the other guy (rather than bending over to try to intervene.)

It was all staged on some level. First the guys doing the video hired all of the rubes/witnesses, under false pretenses. Second, some of the reactions were missed so they "re-created" them with additional actors, including the last fat fuck fumbling his camera out. The dogs barking were also added.

I'm sure these guys went out of their way to stage this with non-threatening people, in a building where they had to go past some security.

Still I think you're right. My natural reaction would have been to start kicking the strangler in the throat and his other soft parts, and there would be no real hesitation in this. From his position, he could easily end up dead or worse.

The last guy could be taking a pic so he has the faces on in case they get away? Its not a bad ide. Take a quick pic then break it up.

What if you have conceal carry and shoots the choking guy and kills him, then finds out it's a prank. Will you be charged with murder?

That's a really dangerous "prank". I can't believe no one kicked the guy in the head to stop him.

I rolled at the guys moving that couch, literally just moved it back in the direction they came from, like "oh crap not that way" lol That one old man had pretty much no reaction at all, just kinda glided back on his way.

Personally, a guy being strangled like that, my first thought would be the victim must have been screwing his wife or is a Pedo. In that particular case i'd prolly get it on video to show friends or just try another elevator.

I would hurry up and pull the perps pants off and run like hell with them then he's caught for indecent exposure.

Seriously, are people that dickless? You could beat the perp off with the fire extinguisher.

So everyone's supposed to be Bruce Willis  The problem is, that perhaps the perp is Bruce Willis.
Reminds me of a 300lb guy i used to know, got his jaw broke and some hospital bills after trying to break up a couple of teenagers fighting.
Reality is, some people just cause more harm than good trying to interfere in an act of violence. If they know it then their smart to just call 911.

911 should be called but fight or flight is the only answer. Coos won't get there for who knows how long. Ever see someone getting beat on for 15 seconds? Not a fight, but someone really getting hurt. It feels like 10 minutes.

Was that a real fire extinguisher that the guy used? It looked more like fog coming out than actual fire repellent. IDK maybe I need to watch it again.

The guy was prone and busy trying to strangle someone, both his hands were busy. That's about as free a shot as you're going to get. I understand your point if the situation was different. If you can't be bothered to render aid in this case, I just don't know...
