What if it was the whitey's fault all the time when crimes are done by minorities?

What if a bill gets passed which specifically targets the majority community of the country?

In your case whitey, in mine, Hindus.

You get this:

http://www.rediff.com/news/column/fatal-flaw-in-communal-violence-bill/20110602.htm

This Bill is about to be passed by the Indian parliament: Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence Bill, 2011.

From the writer's words:

The manipulative syntax of the bill smacks of a furtive agenda to tilt the scales in favour of a specific community at the cost of the majority and violates the basic tenet of equality before the law.

Being charred to death in a train compartment transformed into a raging inferno by a violent, baying pyromanaical mob reeking with animosity would certainly codify one as a victim of communal violence by any lexicographic criterion (Godhra 2002). But not if you happen to be a Hindu, the majority community, you do not, according to the Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence Bill, 2011.

As per the bill, a 'victim' is not a stand alone descriptor but includes a modifier of 'belonging to a group as defined under this Act'.

And a 'group' the bill stipulates is "a religious or linguistic minority, in any state in the Union of India [ Images ], or Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes within the meaning of clauses (24) and (25) of Article 366 of the Constitution of India."

Is this fair? D:

Courage goddammit and someday the same will happen to majority people of the erstwhile free countries: The US and Europe if you are not careful enough

Hindus are fucked as always throughout as their history as shown.

Be careful this does not happen to whitey!

I know you will resonate with this message in your heart even if you do not seem to agree with me here.

It's polite to not say anything when you have nothing good to say. But since you asked: Sorry that this needs to be spelled out to you, but it doesn't take courage to tell Xenophobic, Rasist assholes like you to go f*ck themselves.

Whitey is a derrogatory Ethnic Euphamism. I am white, but I dont walk around and call minorities bad names. What is your problem? Whitey is a curse word!

In order for the USA to remain competitive, it is necessary for us to export liberalism. Group identity politics is an integral part of this. Sorry.

You may wish to change religions or invest in some homosexuality for optimum protection. But be advised that for the last option, certain side affects (such as loss of marriage rights and the occasional lynching) may occur.

Ol Braz is quite the nutjob:

"You have misunderstood me, it is too my wish for hinduism to roar like a lion, wage a relentless and victorious war against Islamism, crush all it's enemies and bring about truth and justice on this world (a role the US has failed to perform) It is my wish that Hindu men and women are proclaimed amongst the mightiest and noblest warriors in the annals of human history and future. It is my wish that our great nation rise above its pettiness, its pseudo secularism, its hyprocrasy of socialism and communism, its appeasement of minorities and finds its original roots in the sole sustainer of her destiny, hinduism. It is my wish that our nation would conquer the world with the twin swords of righteous might and justice and free humanity from the bondage of evil men.

What I referred to in my previous post was nothing more than the hypocracy of pseudo secular media's perception of the vedic crusade. Our media would prefer the hindus to live the life of cattle, without a voice, without rights, without a saying, ripe for slaying from the islamic monsters and the church fiends.

Believe me CKP, there is indeed justice and dharma in this world, the monsters I referred to above shall reap bloody fruits of their own hate and Hinduism shall be the sole victor of the next great World War." - Braznor

or either of these doozies:

"Nostradamus has predicted that an ancient civilisation under the great mountains(the himalayas) in the East would conquer the whole world. I eagerly await our revenge and conquest!!!!!!" - Braznor

"I want Bharat to have the great space fleet and dominate the universe for all time and space!!!!!!!" - Braznor

Eh, most of that really isn't that bad. What devoutly religious person doesn't want to see his beliefs triumph above all others? If you swapped in "America", "liberalism" or "freedom" for "Hinduism" nobody would bat an eye at those statements. At worst it's the references to a crusade that need toning down.

Oh brother... His attitude is extremely militaristic, aggressive, emotional and loony. So yes, a lot of people would bat their eyes if you replaced the words you mentioned. And at the end of the day it DOES matter that he's defending a religion as opposed to universal secular ideals like "freedom." You may be a cultural relativist, but it doesn't mean the rest of us have to be.

If you look at his words as quoted, they're not that bad.

You have misunderstood me, it is too my wish for hinduism to roar like a lion, wage a relentless and victorious war against Islamism, crush all it's enemies and bring about truth and justice on this world.

I consider this a good thing. Islamism = terrorism, or at least extremism. A relentless war is what we're already trying to wage. India, which suffers from more terrorist attacks than any other nation (maybe Israel is comparable) and its citizens are understandably emotional about this.

It is my wish that our nation would conquer the world with the twin swords of righteous might and justice and free humanity from the bondage of evil men.

First part raises eyebrows, the second - freeing humanity from bondage - is just fine with me.

Believe me CKP, there is indeed justice and dharma in this world, the monsters I referred to above shall reap bloody fruits of their own hate and Hinduism shall be the sole victor of the next great World War.

If the next World War is against Islamism, swap Hinduism with the West and that's an entirely normal statement to make.

Nostradamus has predicted that an ancient civilisation under the great mountains(the himalayas) in the East would conquer the whole world. I eagerly await our revenge and conquest!!!!!!

This is weirder for belief in what Nostradamus has to say than anything else. Otherwise it's patriotic nonsense, which other nations are hardly above.

I want Bharat to have the great space fleet and dominate the universe for all time and space!!!!!!!

Maybe they have a Hindu-oriented version of Star Trek in India and he wanted to bring it up.

The other guy who goes on about untouchables and castes is a douchebag, but don't lump general or even overzealous patriotism and spiritual belief in with that one exception. As a Canadian agnostic I don't care for any of it, but I can recognize the difference between someone being emotional and someone being an extremist.

Nothing wrong with him wanting "hinduism" to "bring about truth and justice on this world". I'd suggest that India first master clean water and the flush toilet, but it's still a noble goal.

No even when swapping words it's still totally crazy and extremist. I'm not even sure if you're being serious with your defense of his last quotation. I don't really want to bother with a textual analysis of a madman's rantings just to prove you wrong. But I'll leave you with this: he's not talking about a region like the west or a country like the US/India. He's talking about a religion at the expense of other religions.

Mine was more tongue in cheek than anything, although I do support his right to believe that Hinduism is superior to all other religions.

Shiner can troll all he wants in my threads, but this is the fact.

INDIA IS A SHITHOLE AND INDIA IS HELL.

Anyone of you can ask me proof and I will provide.

But none of you care and I can understand this perfectly. It's not possible to care about strangers.

But I will because it is my people after all and I will go down in flames fighting this.

Jai Hind.

Your thread title is misleading. From what I understand from the article the law will give special protection to minorites, not blame the majority for crimes committed by minorites.

As far as someday it will happen to us, that day came and went more than 40 years ago. There have been a few complaints, mostly by people with an odd compulsion to collect white sheets, but overall I think we're doing okay.
