Actually, I use two G3s at work everyday. You're right, PC people that I work with have no problem using a Mac. Only the Mac people are afraid of use PC, are those the morons that you're refering to? >>



The mac fanatics I know have no problems using an x86 machine. And I think they realize the drawbacks for both architechtures. Of course, they didnt limit themselves to Microsoft Windows either....

As a Mac, pc, sparc, and ultrasparc user, I enjoy laughing at these architectures when the jokes are good (like many of the posts here). Mac mags make fun of x86, x86 mags make fun of Macs (g4 cube tissue holder ), and Microsoft tries to beat Sun. Its all good fun when appropriate

Fair enough. I'm in graphic line of work. Most of the Mac people in this field have major problems with PC in general.

I work in a NOC. Most techs here are UNIX people, and most that I have talked to (even the PC people) were excited about Mac OS X.

FYI: i have dual p3 800, 350mhz powerbook g3 and one ultra sparc.

im sure that 800mhz g4 is quicker that 800mhz p3. Theres huge difference whether you use altivec or not

lol...this one isn't even that funny, but for some reason I literally lol'ed when I read it(which is odd,cuz I almost never do that when I'm online)
