My wife and I spent the afternoon at a local piercing parlor. :D

She got her tongue, nipples, and navel re-pierced and I got my tongue pierced.

Went to eat after and I just have to say learning to eat with a pierced tongue is a bitch! ;)

No but seriously, how old are you two? Do you forsee yourself taking out the tongue ring in the future? Does the hole heal itself on the tongue? <shudder> I'm not a big fan of body piercings.

We are both 29. Yes, the hole heals if you take out the tongue ring.

I will most likely not take it out, unless the new barbell I put in is as unwieldy as the current one. FYI- The original barbell has to be longer to allow for swelling.

The power of societies influences, never underestimate it. Funny how putting holes in the body to hang jewelry is cool right now.

I'm not knocking it that much and its not all that different than the pretentiousness that everyone puts into their hair and clothes, but what people do to modify their appearance can get pretty peculiar. There's alot worse things in the world than this tho. ;)

What I want to know is, how the hell do you expect to get through airport security, ha, ha.
