It's a central platform for a playset.

8x8 feet and a six foot high deck. It will have a pyramidal roof, and a slide, steps and a climbing wall.

I plan to add monkey bars, a walkway to a 6x6 tower and a swings which will have another connected walkway on top.

i want to build something like that for my cats.
crazy i know.. but they love to climb and play and stuff.

Not hard, get some plywood, carpeting remnants and hardwood dowels. Glue the carpet to the ply, and cut holes the size of the dowels through it. Glue them into place and there you go. Take some catnip and make a "tea" out of it, and spray a little of the concoction on the carpet. Kitty Play-land!
 
Or, you could just go buy a new refrigerator and throw the box it came in out in the backyard for the kiddies to play in. Much less work and the kids will have a great time.
