What Hotel To Stay at in Vegas?

I'm looking to spend around 120 a day per room in Vegas during a weekday. I was thinking about staying at either the Hard Rock or Palms. What do you guys think? This is a future trip, just booking rooms right now.

I've been to Vegas many times and my favorite hotel to stay in is the Venetian. I think next time we might stay at the Wynn.

For staying a weekday, you should be able to do better than $120 in a hotel right on the strip. I'd say for sure you could do something like the Monte Carlo.. not that its necessarily better than the 2 you suggested, but being on the strip is great.. easier to walk and get to everything.
Mon-Thurs has the best rates typically.
Once in a while you can get into nicer hotels during the weekday for $100-120.
Vdara, Aria..

If you want on the strip and are on a budget - Flamingo.

If you are on a serious budget and want the strip - Bill's

Since I'm rarely in a room - I don't get the big deal about the 4-star hotels like Bellagio. Last I stayed there it was a major pain to get from my room to the lobby, and while the bathroom was really nice - I was rarely in it other than to sleep a few hours and shower.

Flamingo wins for me in the summer as I love there 21+ pool.

I stayed at the Pallazzo and Planet Hollywood. Both were pretty awesome, obviously, Pallazzo was better. It was company paid 🙂

Your money, your choice. You can stay in a room with vomit stains on the carpet or you can stay in a room that'd make an emperor blush.

We go to Las Vegas at least twice a year, we always stay at The Venetian. We always say "why don't we try somewhere else" and we look at the prices and what they have to offer.... and we go right back to The Venetian. Having said that, I don't normally gamble there, their machines and tables aren't the best.

...in fact, we leave for Las Vegas Thursday! 😎

Venetian rooms are very nice and pretty big.

Hard Rock is a bit off the strip and be prepared to spend a good amount on cabs.

Wynn and Encore are just amazing but its a pretty penny.

The Cosmo is hands down my favorite hotel to stay, play, party, drink at. The atmosphere and the environment just wins out over everyone IMO.

Try the Elara - A Hilton Grand Vacations Place. We've been staying there for work lately. Great rates, new building and the rooms have been really nice.

The Luxor usually has some deals going on, stayed there several times and it was nice, even ran into carrot top in the entryway and had a little chat with him.

mirage has a very good price / quality ratio. nothing can compare to citycenter and cosmo though. i also like paris and planet hollywood

while the elara is nice i can't recommend staying at timeshares because i hate salespeople. it's nice to stay in a place that is entirely smoke-free though.

I stayed at the Flamingo. Good location at the end of the strip, and it's super cheap! Not very nice though. Or go to Caeser's and hope for a free upgrade to a suite!
