What home theater speakers should I get?

Hah! I was just talking to my wife about that the other day. I need a "workbench" stool or chair for my garage. One bench is 36" high, and the other is 34", so it would be best of the stool could adjust to different heights. The best solution would seem to be a drafting chair, which ranges around $100.00 for a cheaper one. That's a little expensive for a garage chair, IMO. The alternative would be for me to fashion one from wood, or cobble one out of a standard office chair. Can you imagine how much time that would take? Not to mention, the materials wouldn't be free. I told my wife it would be best just to cough up the hundred bucks and be done with it.

Speakers of decent quality are so cheap, it's really not worth it either.

How about recommending some decent (cheap) drivers for some nice oiled walnut speakers I have here. They sound like crap, but the cabinets are beautiful. I think they're 8" or 10" woofers with 3" tweeters. I'll get a picture...

They're getting knocked around a bit out on the porch, but still usable. They are 8" and 4" drivers in there now. What's the lowest price possible to replace these? Cabinets are sealed and interior would be 8"x11"x20".
