Me-

Bach for music.
DaVinci for all around genius.
Samuel Johnson for a wonderful and underated wit (great quotes from this man).
Giotto and Titian for art.
Tolkien for literature.

You???

I lean toward hands on inventors like: "Thomas Jefferson" "Nikola Tesla" "Alexander Graham Bell" "Leonardo Da Vinci" "Wright Brothers"...

Personally--and i'm actually something of a jefferson scholar--it's harder to like him the more you know him. Madison; now there's a guy. Best of the founders 🙂

Conan the Barbarian, Da Vinci, Jefferson, Truman

Da Vinci was just the man, what can I say? He was waaaay ahead of his time.
Jefferson was a very smart man. Plus he had a lot of balls for writing the Declaration of Independence. King George was one of the most powerful men in the world at the time and writing such a document was like signing his own death warrant.
Truman was the only man to ever push the "Red Button". Whether it was good or bad, you still have to admire him for his gigantic balls.
Don't even tell me that Conan's not real!He was the man. I wish Conan was my dad.

Alexander the Great
Franz Liszt
General Hannibal
Teddy Roosevelt
Chatrapati Shivaji
Lenin
Napoleon
Che Guevera
Marie Curie

Oops i alomst forgot...the great Nelson Mandela

1.Jesus

2.Founders of our country/writers of the constitution

To see over 200 years ago how brave these men were, and how what they wrote then still applies today. Some may compare it to the Bible (no, I am not trying to turn this into a religion thread), and say that it is written so broad that it can be applied many ways, but I believe it is pure genius.

<< << Weren't they related to Russ and Harvey? >>

Not only did he transformed a nation, he transformed Turkey's way of thinking and brought them into the 20th Century.
