What have you had to give up for a relationship?

what have you had to give up for someone you liked and wanted to try and have a relationship with?

one girl I was with decided one day she no longer liked the goatee i wa sporting at the time...so yeah i shave it off for her...

not such a big thing but i know somepeople have given up far greater things for he sake of love

I once gave up booze for a girl...

Gave up studying for another one...not such a good idea in the long run

heh, i also shaved off my goatee...even though we split up a while back, i still haven't grown it back either...

Gave up studying for another one...not such a good idea in the long run

Booze I can understand, but studying? What's the reason behind giving up studying??

Well, I gave up a music career. Dropped the guitar in college (had a chance to go on a 250 city tour), but got out for family life. I'm not sorry I did it, but I do go "what if.." a lot.
