What have you done for the economy today?

Personally, I got a prescription from CVS, bought some Dr. Pepper and Dirty's chips and some sunscreen. Also bought about $40 worth of parts for the car.

You?

Didn't buy a house I couldn't afford. Now if I could hold myself back tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that, and...

Nothing. I replaced the brakes on my junker yesterday though. Although, if the economy was better I may have bought a better car.

Nothing. Transferred another $1,000 to my savings yesterday from checkings. Trying to prepare for possible layoff. Afraid to spend.

I make a good salary and let the government take a giant bite so they can give it to corporations and banks that can't handle their own business.

Cashed out my Scottrade account. Then it's hooker and blow, or buy stuffs I need, one of the two but I haven't decide which yet.

Nothing yet, but I may be picking up beer and pizza from two different locally owned and operated businesses later.

going out after I finish breakfast to get a hair cut, take a blood test, and go grocery shopping... might drop by old navy too, I need a couple pairs of cheap jeans/pants; think I dropped another size, the pants I bought last month were totally falling off me when I was shoveling snow yesterday.
