that is funny, i was just thinking i would try one of those when i saw the commercial last night. but in reality, it is because of the OT thread about it. the commercial only/by itself wouldn't have prompted me to try one

Same with me. Even if it is something I would normally order, I will stop ordering it during the commercial (there are always equivalents elsewhere).

The one exception is the Quiznos commercial with the gerbals. I always wanted to try Quiznos but my wife refused. When that commercial came on, she loved their sense of humor and we ate there a few times. Ever since the commercial went off air, she didn't want to go back (I do, but it is a long drive away so I haven't gone yet).

way back when I was, like, 13, I started drinking only pepsi products when it came to soda because of a Spice Girls - Pepsi commercial

more recently, I bought one of those infomercial cleaning products. actually worked out really great too.
