What have you been doing on weekends during these trying times?

1950ish Sears. Same for my drill press, King Seeley. Got them at an estate sale 20+ years ago for $200. I am on my 3rd motor on the saw so it's getting some use.
Wow, what a blast from the past - when men were men and Sears made made shit that was solid as a rock.
I do miss going to the local Sears parts and repair depot to fix appliances and stuff - it was so easy to save money on repairs 20 years ago.

Same thing I do every weekend - go grocery shopping Saturday morning, spend the rest of the weekend at home working on projects or house stuff.

I think I might plan for a nap this Saturday afternoon. 2p.m. is the sweet spot - an hour or so after lunch, and you can get a solid 2-3 hours in, then you have yourself an hour or two to do some stuff before making dinner. Aw yeah. 😎

I might sort my socks this weekend. Everything's in piles and scattered. I'll repair the ones that need it. If the rain chills out a little, I might try to do some stuff in the yard, or if I get really motivated, mill a 6"x6"(I think. It might be 8"x8". I need to ask) column for my boss' brother.

I wouldn't call these trying times. Forever after, these will be called 'The Good Old Days®'. Pretty much everything's been wonderful since people have been staying in their houses.

Despite the stress of adjustment and shortage of some supplies, it certainly has been less hectic and I like having my wife at home, now that she has her own office.

Working on my cars, painting trim and walls, playing video games. I’ve been replacing weeping power steering lines for like three weeks now because I keep breaking things and having to wait for parts.

Days are blending together big time right now. The only reason I'm keeping track now is because I'm only drinking on weekends starting this past week, so I know today is Friday. I just played some Mario Kart on Switch and am about to play some Lethal Enforcers.

Nothing really changed for me except I work from home when I'm on 8h shifts. It's FINALLY starting to be nice out so I'll probably start on my deck soon, when I get my next stretch of days off.
