Of course you're not an example out of a textbook..they were just pointing out that what you are feeling is called transference. It's common in therapy. Your therapist will understand if you tell her about it...she's been trained to deal with it.
Don't let the guys here get to you with their comments. Most are repeating things they've heard here and there because they don't know you personally and so can't give a very personal response to your situation. I think SMOGZINN wrote a good response, and I definitely think you should share your feelings with your therapist since she knows you better than any of us do.
