What is this war of which you speak? Where are the troops fighting? It's not Iraq, Ashcroft has no jurisdiction there anyway.

Now, which people here have said they hate Ashcroft for pursuing terrorists? They may be at odds with his methods, not the goal of eliminating terrorists domestically. You can always link to threads to provide evidence for proof.

Janet Reno? I thought Waco was handled miserably. I do not play favorites with Presidents or their agents. I would rather weigh their actions than adopt a protective attitude of any politician.

I will never forgive Ashcroft for saying that anyone who does not 100% support the Administration's policies is giving aid and comfort to the enemy. That is not how our democracy is supposed to work.

Ashcroft and his boss Bush seem to be blinded by power and are willing to toss out the foundations of the American democracy we used to enjoy.

Hopefully we will throw both out of office before they are able to muster enough of their radicals to ignore the results of (another) election.
