What has America come to? Latest Hummer H2 ad

Have you guys seen this latest commercial for the Hummer H2? It pretty much blantantly just proves the real reasoning to have one.

It starts with a mom driving her kid to school. All you see if the window of the vehicle as she's driving him. She asks if he wants her to drop her off now before she gets in front of the school, but he says no..."You can pull right up." Kid gets out of the car and walks into the school in between a group of "cool" kids I would assume, all with dumbstruck looks on their faces. Then they say "nice ride"...que the image of mom in H2:roll:

At least GM has gotten away from showing the H2 in more rugged situations and have stooped down to the level that they are really on :laugh:

The H2 is redneck rice - all the looks of the real deal, but none of the toughness, transmission strength, curb-hopping suspension ... it's a friggin' pickup with a body kit.

You think some civilian is going to pay $110,000 for a utility truck? That's what the H1 costs. Cut the cost and functionality in half and you have the H2. It's that simple. You simply must take the vehicle at face value, not on the coat tails of the utility vehicle with the same name.

Absolutely. What if someone has next-to-no-cash and needs something immediately to get a job done? Or desperately needs transportation and can't get a loan or financing and only has, say a few hundred dollars? Everything has a usefulness. Some things are obviously more useful than others, but there HAVE to be situations for each and every something where that something has a better advantage over everything else. If you can't see that, you're one of those elitist tools.

Hoover Windtunnel
Nintendo vs Super Nintendo (probably going to only get agreement from hardcore game fanatics)

VHF (I'm fairly certain the Beta came out after VHF, but I could be wrong)

FuseTalk
Miracle Blade (based on cost of original product debut under the company's previous name of Ginsu)

Noone said it was aimed towards a replacement for the H1. But considering it uses the same brand name, and the name indicates that it is a sequel to the original, you would expect it would improve on the original.

It's implicitly implied by the whole H2 name. There was the hummer before, H1, which makes the H2 the sequel to the H1. Dictionary.com defines sequel as a continuation. A continuation would therefore possess the same inherent traits as the original, and would likely improve upon them.
