What happens when your permit expires??

Do I have to retake it again? or I can get a renewal? I'm from NY. anyone know?

I assume you mean driving. In California... you have to retake the written test... i THINK.

If you mean driving, you must hold your permit for 90 days until getting the license. At least that's our state law.

if its a drivers permit i think u have to take the test again.. and if u have had it for this long that it is runing out why not get your license?

I think you need to get a new one, but that may have changed since I got my license in 1961.

You have to take the classes all over again. If you got the same place they might not charge you. That's what my driving school said.

Affirmitive. You have to retake the written test and get both parent signatures again. No big deal.
