You can get the same thing from Subaru in the form of the Baja!

Baja is pretty ugly (this coming from a Subaru owner).

Not bad looking but yeah, kinda redneckish. One of the Volvo shops in the area has a 240 with a truck bed.

He says the front came from a 84, but is not true. The front of the car is a 90+ bumper setup. Unless he is talking about the underbody. That and the Trans are not from a C4 corvette either.

If someone really did 100+K in it, that was not wise. Either that or that person has more money then brains.

if the owner of it was a principal owner of bayliner, i think there are NO money problems.

Why's he selling it, then?

Seriously, that is awesome work. Even if you don't like the concept, you've got to be able to appreciate that the bodywork is flawless. The first time I looked at the first picture, I didn't realize that the car was stretched - the wheel wells and the body bends are in just the 'right' place.

I wouldn't pay $30k+ for it, but I'd pay $10-$12k for it.

Sadder, I've seen a Honda Civic truck. If you live near/around Alhambra, CA. Go to 1000-2000 block of Pepper St. Look for a red civic. Cry.

Give me a break, you cant tell the body work is flawless from a pic like that. You need to be up close and personal to inspect automotive body work for being flawless,

I will agree it looks like very nice work from the pics.

Now I'm no expert, but aren't you talking more paint and finishing than you are bodywork? I mean, I can see the line of the body well enough from that pic. All getting closer would let me see is the quality of the paintjob.

The body 'looks' like a C4, which is an amazing feat since it's several feet longer. If you think I don't know what I'm talking about, you really need to check out my sig. I've got another one just like it, a 96 coupe that's silver.
