I don't see their replies in threads but I see the threads they started on the main thread list. I wish it would hide those too.

You guys forgot something. The first thing that happens when you ignore someone is that they get a notification that someone has just placed them on their ignore list. So now you are on their shitlist, too.

Smarmy. I think the smart thing to do is just ignore them in real time, don't fuck with the systematic stuff. There's a small handful of people whose posts I just don't read because they scramble my mind instead of focusing it. Dissemblers. Prevaricators. People always in denial.

Not sure how they havemit set up here, but over at “the site that shall not be mentioned,” if you have someone on ignore, nthey can’t send you a PM...great policy, IMO.

Just to be clear, are Mayne and Naer balls of slobbering whining snot because you ignored them or did you ignore them because they were already balls of slobbering whining snot?
Ormagherd !! Why would anyone want to ignore Mayne or Naer. They are our precious little gems.

Anyway, i have 12 people in my list, but i hardly ever read P&N, if i did it would be larger.

Pretty sure the first person i ignored was Alkemyst, not sure why.
I added someone yesterday after they triumphantly praised bluetooth mice. (Imho that deserves a 10-year ban but, y'know, im not the boss around here.)

I also have that tajmahal guy. And anyone who vomits out Fox/Trump propaganda.

Does this count as propaganda?

Thats pretty cool actually.

Just to be clear im not anti-republican. I share ideologies with both left and right, but i cant stand arguments stemming from lies, wether by malice or by stupidity.

I have a cheap bluetooth mouse. My tablets are super minimal/cheap and I wanted to save a USB port. Such a hassle that bluetooth mouse.

Yeah, the only people I've wanted to ignore are the fox/trump propaganda folks.

I use a userscript instead of the native function. Blocks much more and even works for annoying moderators and admins.

Can you use wildcard characters in ignore lists?

Could you have an account on here and put _everybody_ on ignore?

It would make it very a peaceful forum. Kind of Zen, I think.

I'd make a comment about 'ignore lists in real life' except that now Charlie Brooker has beaten me to it with some episode of Black Mirror, apparently.

gee sounds like some spoiled brat daddy's girl in her freshman year at a ultra-liberal college demanding that there be a "safe space" where she won't have hear anything offensive.
