What happens when you contest a speeding ticket?

I know I go to the first court date, then I plead Not Guilty, then they give me another court date.

What happens at the second court date?

What should I expect? I have pics that prove the cop couldn't see me when he clocked me. I think I have a 50% chance of getting off.

If I was guilty, I would just pay the ticket (like the other 3 I have had), but I know I am innocent, so I am contesting it.

They'll ask the cop if everything on the ticket is true, he'll say yes. They'll ask you questions... like how fast were you going, etc. You get to tell your side of the story. If it's just your word against the cop's, you'll lose. If your pictures can actually prove that he couldn't see you, then you should be good. But how do you know he couldn't see you when he supposedly clocked you? How would do you even know when he clocked you?

Now honestly - were you speeding or not?

Because he clocked me with a laser, and he wrote on the ticket "575', center lane, one back". Well, 575' is almost 1/10th of a mile, and They were pulling people over from that same spot all day, so I circled around at the next exit and had my camera in my car. At 1/10th of a mile away, the line of sight is blocked.

I've gone to court a coupe of times for my tickets, I didn't have much of a chance of winning, but I might as well exercise my right to a trial, and get the most for my $75. Only once did I ever get to a trial, b4 that I always made a bargain, I did lots of researc. look at motorists.com Theres lots of info there.
