what happens when you breed a liger and a tiger or lion

I thought you couldn't breed a liger with anything?

Edit: Not true! Ligers are fertile. Why haven't they taken over the jungle by now?

tigers hang out in jungles

lions hang out in savannahs / deserts

humans get bored and decide to stick a lion and tiger together to see what happens

Liger is sterile.

according to wikipedia, female ligers are fertile.

male ligers are potentially fertile. (they're more likely to be sterile, but some fertility apparently exists)

Stop right now, you reckless fools! If you breed ligers any further you will turn them into the chihuahuas of the big cat world! Where will their skills in magic be then!

I saw a stuffed liger at a museum exhibit. I really thought they only existed in Napolean Dynamite

so, are their progeny fertile? that would mean they are fit (by Darwin's definition). If so....yeah, these things could dominate the planet

No, the real question is what happens when you breed a liger to a tigon. This is what the world wants to know!
