What happens when a person dies?

Where's the 'I don't believe there is a human soul' option? I believe we're alive like any other living thing, but when we die, that's it, forever.

Edit: Beaten by FoBoT 😉

Wow, for you people that believe this is no soul and no after life, isn't it HORRIBLY depressing when a friend or loved one died? I'm not starting an "is there an afterlife debate" I just think it would be horrible not to believe in a heaven or afterlife of some kind.

While I believe in an after life, sometimes things are not alway the way we want or like it to be. It is sad if there is no after life and we just no longer exist. That could be true and it is a sad way to go. In all cases, we'll all be shocked with the truth when we die and for all of those who fights and kills for their belief wil bound to be sadden. Not everyone can be right.

just accept that there is no such thing as a soul. why is it such a hard concept? you will experience a peace you could never have imagined, all your cares will instantly disappear.
