Police surround this man saying they have a warrant. He puts his hands on his head and watch what happens. Turns out they had the wrong person. Cops also attack woman in car even though she had no involvement other then getting video evidence.

Let's summarize if like in Wisconsin black people walk away from cops we are shot or beaten. If we comply fully we get shot or beaten. Is there anyway we can get some treatment like our lives matter??

Maybe like Wisconsin if every black person walked down the streets open carrying loaded weapons we would get treated like that white kid who had just killed someone?

Not holding my breath

This shit has to stop.

Yes it does.
From beating people to deadly home invasions, police violate our civil rights far too often in America. Often with disastrous and deadly outcomes.

Shame that people are rioting instead of protesting. Inciting violence instead of working on change. Because instead of working to reform police and prevent shit like this, and worse, we get armed militias justifiably trying to stop their cities from burning down and civilians attacking each other on the streets. The issue of the day switches public attention from police violence to mob violence. The message to reform the police gets downed out by just trying to maintain a civil society and protect lives from a mob.

Ideally we could do both. But realistically, more voters are just going to support harsh crack downs to restore order and call it a day. Good trouble is not what America is facing right now. We are in the midst of bad trouble, the sort where - when you throw in 30 million people evicted from homes and an election whose results people will refuse to recognize.... we are at real risk of becoming Afghanistan more than we are of ending police violence.

Riots are the fire, economic devastation the fuel, and a bad election the spark to set this powder keg ablaze. I do hope we survive this moment in history, but too many people are partisan to the point of refusing to recognize each other's civil rights and right to live. Too many people think mobs can and should hunt people down on a street for vigilante justice. As was spoken for in the other thread. Too many people are emotionally invested against the officer's right to live when the circumstances are reversed and it is the suspect threatening them. When we are at each other's throats and move beyond words, I fear there is little hope for reforms to achieve a better society and less violent policing.

America would be a safer and better place if we would all be consistent in calling for a more peaceful nation. To that end, there should be serious consequences, maybe jail time for the officer who kicked that man. The whole unit should be disbanded and reformed with people trained not to escalate violence or violate our rights. Hell, our nation and all its people need to learn that lesson.

TL;DR

America is far too lawless and violent right now.
And I am talking about everyone. From the police to the rioting to the militias.
What we need is good trouble, but who can find that amidst all the beatings, burning, looting, and shooting?

Fixed because you are insinuating peaceful protestors are rioters. You are also omitting on many occasions we had proven agent provocateur's blending in the crowds to start trouble.

You are also giving justification for that 17 year old white kid to kill people on the streets. Seems the only people that get the benefit of the doubt are armed white people as we have seen in Kenosha.

And then we have video of a white man who just murdered 2 people and injured another, with a rifle strapped across his chest, walking with his hands up as onlookers are screaming "HE JUST KILLED SOMEONE" who is ignored by multiple police vehicles and he just walks right by them.

Nope. There is no social injustice going on here.

This is exactly what Trumpanzees want: Civil War and no one to shoot them back because cops will come after them not the instigators.

This is why Donald Trump or the re-electing of Donald Trump IS NOT going to make things better or safer or more secure in America. Donald Trump believes the answer is to send in even more law enforcement and rouge cops to shut down any resistance to the injustice. What happens when people watch this kind of thing, people will then protest in the streets BECAUSE that now appears to be the only way to draw attention to the injustice that is happening. So..... THIS happens, then people see it and protest the injustice, THEN Donald Trump sends in even more enforcement, and on and on it goes. If white people living in gated communities really think that Donald Trump is their answer or is the guy who will keep the peace, think again gated people. What Donald wants is to allow the police to do this, again and again, then to punish those that protest such brutally. This is how a dictator operates. Abuse the people with your cops and militia, then gas and arrest them should they object. Want to see an America is total chaos? Just re-elect Donald Trump.

What is your suggestion? It is easy to complain, but I have not heard a single solution from you.
