What happens if you don't change your engine oil for too long?

Don't feel bad, my mom went almost 30k

Granted, the oil pretty much turned to sludge and she had to trade the car in almost 2 early on her lease :D

Depends on the kind of oil. If it's the regular stuff you are supposed to get changed every 3k miles, then you are in for a large repair bill soon. Sucks to be you.

Probably your engine is going to have a shorter life, no wonder why people complaint about cars in the shop 24/7 it doesn?t take that long to change...

People wouldn't pay $30 for an oil change every 3K miles, but willingly bend over and pay cell phone companies hundreds of dollars each month just so they can gossip when they're driving. Nice.

i did that on my civic ever since i knew i was going to trade it in.... didnt change the oil for about 15k and traded it in and got my new car... (which i do take care of)
