What happens if a trader with good evals doesn't give you eval after a trade?

Same thing is pissing me off too.

Traders make such a big deal over heatware and beerology but don't wanna leave it. Ebay does'nt matter here. 340-0-0 aint shabby... but it is worthless here.

After seven trades, I get two reviews. I emailed once, won't do it again, cause I dont want a neg for being annoying, but I will never leave a review for anyone who does not leave it first.

*Whew* Thanks, I needed that!!

:)

Yeah it happens and it sucks.

I bought an item and the day I got it I got an email about leaving feedback (they already had my payment for 5 days, I paid the instant the auction ended).

So I left feedback and replied please return the favor....

a week later still no feedback so I replied to their email again and was told to stop bugging them, and that as someone who is busy they have no time to leave leave back for every single item and that many times they get none in return anyways....the lady went on and on....she could have left 10 feedback+ for the time the email took.

Wow what a prick - who was that? I'll know never to trade with them!

Yup, half of the people I do business with on ebay don't leave feedbacks, whereas 2/3 on FS-FT leave feedbacks

feedback is a bonus not to be expected

That being said. I always leave feedback except on one occasion
I ordered a book from someone on half.com and they never shipped it or it got lost in the mail. Come to find out the class was cancelled so I did not need the book anyways. I notified the seller 3 weeks after the purchase and they gave me a refund. Had I actually need the book, she would have gotten a neutral or negative

Annoying isn't it? I've got several evaluations missing. And it's not like they don't know that I've requested heatware either. It takes what about two minutes tops? I've left heatware for every transaction I've done, is it that hard to return the favor?

It is simple, if you have sent them a couple of nice requests, simple sent them a message that says"if you don't leave me heatware tonight, you get a threatening letter in the mail tomorrow"

It works every time:)

Not much.

I just keep bugging them. Eventually they will get tired of it and leave you an eval or they'll start ignoring you and you'll never get your eval. There's nothing you can really do about it.

Why not either edit your feedback for her, or leave another message in her feedback, quoting her letter about how she's too good for giving feedback, while she demanded it from you? People might want to know what kind of person they're trading with.

I leave feedback about 3/4 of the time..

However, why leave feedback if the item is slightly less than what's expected?

because she also threatened negative against me if I 'pushed' her....I forwarded this to ebay and got the 'we do not regulate feedback' response.

She was a 10k or maybe 20k+ power seller and the item was cheap and not worth me risking months of BS over. I did get a good deal, just not a complete transaction in my opinion.

Another thing is holding feedback hostage....the way I used to see it was if you get the money leave feedback, why wait for the other person to get their package first (as far as you should be concerned their part in the transaction (payment) is over).....however I learned that once they have a good feedback from you a lot of buyers (and sellers) play stupid in order to get extras, some money back, etc....that's BS too. People get really brave and bold when they have 100's of miles between you and them....the funny part is calling them up direct to negotiate...they get all freaked out.
