Every time I turn on break.com or the news, there is always these younger girls getting into fights, lighting cats on fire, etc.. What the hell happened?

Teenage girls doing retarded things sparks media controversy, hence those stories are targeted. Nothing has changed.

Maybe girls behaving badly is more in the news these days than it used to. I still find it hard to believe young girls were setting kittens on fire 15 years ago.
 
There is far worse crap going on but for some reason the public has far more sympathy for a kitten than gang rapes and mother/child beaters.

Stuff like this has been going on ever since man made fire. Only until now have we've seen it in the news because the media knows how to get rattings.

Well look at one of your sources there. Break is the FHM/Maxim/Stuff of video sites, and as such there's an abundance of male aimed content. As for the news, well, the thing is, maybe you're just not exposing yourself to a good enough variety. Its actually quite easy to find a lot of different news stories if you don't just run to the standard news sites and look at the headlines (a lot of those same sites have good content beyond what they deem to be the headline worthy stories).
 
I definitely view all different sorts of important news sites, including fark. lol I just don't remember girls getting into such fist fights in highschool. Or even video taping fights between guys. Maybe, I am just getting old and thats the cool thing to do these days with technology the way it is
 
Well, the news said that young girls aren't getting pregnant anymore or having sex anymore, so they have to find something else to do.

The reason why you know about it now is because of the internet. 15 years ago, the internet didn't exist.

I remember watching Alicia Nalavenko beat the crap out of Tara Snyder in the hallway right in front of me because Alicia found out that Tara gave Alicia's boyfriend a BJ. And this was almost 15 years ago now. Nothing really changes, every single generation since Adam has complained about the next generation after them.
