I see no difference in the songs in the OP. It's all just semi-catchy music used to fill up the awkward silence of the into credits. None of them are special.

If you're going to put a link up, name the show. Don't make people click to find it. (I didn't click any of the links to find them).

USA used to play all my favorites back in the early '90s.In the mornings it was the cartoon express and in the evening when I sat down for dinner it was Macgyver and Quantum Leap. Now they don't. Everything has gone to hell. LOL!

I remember these three gems back in oh '89?

This was a bad ass show on Fox. Only ran for two seasons. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0zpqxKYPsk I guess people rather see shit like Bones and Glee. Makes me want to puke!

And this on Fox was the show I watched when I was a kid. After that it was Sightings with Tim White. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbBX6aEzEz8 Who can forget that, huh? LOL!

Some things just stick, even without lyrics.

I remember seeing the Scarecrow and Mrs. King intro when I was 3 or 4 and never forgot it. I didn't even know what the show was about but I pretended to like it just because of the intro.

That said, the intro I remember seeing in the US Virgin Islands had a scene from one of the episodes with Mrs. King standing precariously on a high ledge outside a building, so it was different that the few I see on YouTube.

Oh, and my mother used to dry my clothes in the oven sometimes too, but not because she was an agent incompetently posing as a homemaker. ;)

If you're going to put a link up, name the show. Don't make people click to find it. (I didn't click any of the links to find them).

This. Extremely annoying if you are using Flash block and you don't know if it's worth clicking all the way through.

I'm very impressed with tv theme songs - the good ones.

I'll list a sample of five that seem to be to be great songs really capturing the show.

- Star Trek
- Rockford Files
- Wild Wild West
- Dragnet
- Sanford & Son

I'm not including great picks of songs not made for the series, like the Sopranos.
