What happened to Triumph the Insult Comic Dog?

No after pets.com filed suit they made fun of it even more and stuff

I think the main reason he is not there is because Robert Smigel (former Conan writer and the creator/voice of Triumph) is no longer at the show

He was also responsible for the cartoon segments on SNL (ambiguously gay duo, fun w/ real audio, etc)

He has (had?) a show on Comedy Central call TV Funhouse. Amazing show. Triumph showed up from time to time.
