The thread I had started yesterday about webbugs from ZDNet in the forums seems to have been removed ( I just posted to it this morning at 11am PST).
Any reason why? I just want to know what zdnet has to do with Anandtech. what gives?

Homer:
You're right..the bug is gone from the forums

DAM:
Here is the original post I put in the HotDeals forum before It got locked (guess this one hasn't been purged yet) :) and I also posted it in "Forum Issues"
HotDeals Thread

and here was what I had written in case it does get purged :);)

<< This is not a hot deal. I have taken apoppin's advice and placed this message in the forum issues section..........

I just installed bugnosis for IE and it found the following "possible" web bug in this forum:
http://gserv.zdnet.com/clear/anandTec-Hot Deals-FORUMS.gif?992453118910

Looks like from the URL its sending info to zdnet.

Also found this one when writing this message in the "New Post" window
http://gserv.zdnet.com/clear/anandTec.gif?992453032355

Just thought you would like to know before this post gets locked....

For more info here is a c/net link:

Now that I find very interesting. The bugs have been there who knows how long, and as soon as someone notices it and brings it up the first response is, 'don't worry about it' and 'it's nothing'. Then the next thing all refrences to it are gone, as are the bugs. /me is suspicious!
