What happened to SilverBack?

He was cranking out the SETI units up until a little bit ago but according to Nexus9's website he's all but stopped?

He's still a member of TA SETI but it looks like he quit after the race to 2K? I hope not. We could really use those WU's he was producing.

He's running RC5 for the time being. The last I heard he was waiting on the rest of us to catch up so he could smoke us in a race to 3000wu's. I hope his plans haven't changed.

Hmmmm... I wasn't aware of that "battle". I'll put it very mildly and say that fsking sucks. Kinda sad to see that happen among the SETI team. I thought we all had the same goal? That is to produce the most WU's we can produce, period. The races and in-team competitions are fun but if they destroy the ultimate goal, what is it worth?

Shite, Darkone and The_One are combined right now and together will pass me in our team rankings. Do I care? Of course. Is that fair? Yes. Do I like being passed? Of course not. But in the end it's by a crew on my own team so who cares! Man, we're all the same team!!!! I'd rather they combine efforts and pass me than either or both leave the TEAM. In the end it's all a matter of how much WE produce at the end of the day. Let's not lose sight of that.

In the end, if this race activity drove Silverback to leave SETI, I'm really pissed and I hope we all learn from it. If that's the case then we lost a great teammate. I hope Silverback returns...

I think the reason Robor is upset that its because there was some friction created in the race which caused SB to leave ,rather than him leaving just because he wanted a change.However I believe the trouble was sorted so its history now..So basically its not so much that he switched teams but the reason he originally switched.

BTW Sofa king was doing SETI before he did RC5 , oh yeah glad you could join us in the search .
