Nobody votes for the VP...he's probably thinking of another run in 2008.

The Kerry Camp is dead in the water. The election was his and the democrats to take and they blew it. Edwards and Kerry are just going through the motions without any passion or determination, as they see the writing on the wall.

Edwards is stumping throughout the East Coast. Alas, he doesn't throw flaming piles of poo like Cheney so it's difficult to get much press. In the meantime, Bush and Kerry have dueling unintelligible stump speeches. Well that's not quite true . . . it's easy to understand what Bush is saying . . . although it has a tenuous relationship with reality. Kerry, on the otherhand . . . umm . . . has no message. But at least it's truthful.

For the record, Edwards was stumping in Raleigh, NC today . . . talking about issues. The press . . . they were talking about themselves (CBS), Britney's wedding, and the daily good news from Iraq and Afghanistan.

I think there was an edwards siting the other day. He was doing the clinton thumbs up.

Did the democrats patent that thing or something? Ever since Clinton did it, every democratic candidate now does it. It looks so dumb.

i think he is a good campaigner. i dont know why they are hiding him or why he might be hiding. i like him
a lot better than Kerry. he is more true to life than kerry, who really does not know who he is. or where
he is going. also edwards wife is so real compared to kerrys wife who looks like some kind of monkey
always beating on her chest. she and kerry are so arkward together. i beleive the demo's would have
had a good chance to win this election with edwards. but they picked kerry,teddy and al. shame!

"When it comes to what working people need, this really is a do-nothing presidency. Do nothing to create jobs, do nothing to relieve the burden on the middle class," Edwards said. He called the impact of a second Bush term on unions and working people "a scary thought."

"We're all proud of our troops in Iraq," Edwards told several hundred people. "But the truth is Iraq is a mess. And it's a mess because of George Bush and Dick Cheney."


Cheney: said the beheading in Iraq of a U.S. engineer was "another reminder of the evil we face."

"He seems to adopt a new position every day," Cheney told about 1,600 people inside a dusty barn at the Fulton County Fairgrounds. He broke into a laugh when the crowd started chanting "flip-flop, flip-flop."
