What happened to Jerboy?

I couldn't stand him, but he's right about one thing-you can get away with anything if you're buddy-buddy with the mods.

I feel kinda sorry for him, and think he was singled out.

I do admit that I made a couple of thread just to bash Jerboy,
(a goofy poll.. and a fake pic of him and RedDawn) but they were in good fun..

Some of his posts were pretty interesting like if you wanted to know
weird stuff like
What lightbulbs have the best light output to heat ratio, and
what computer cases resist damage by way of kicking and headbutting the best.

Anyways, I think he was unfairly excommunicated, and beleive he deserves another chance.

I didn't care for many of his views any more than the next guy, but if I were a moderator, I would think twice about censoring him and similar members. Censoring them just gives fuel to their fire, ignoring them would result in them being considered crazies. Just my 2¢...

While the "offense" for which he was outwardly banned seems insignificant, I always felt that many of his threads were deliberately started as flamebait because he knew that if he posted a thread about some dirty kid getting a free lunch while he had to pay a lousy $1.50, he'd get a good flame war going, but the posts were just innocuous enough to fly under the radar as being incendiary.

I have on more than one occaision staked the claim that he is just another Internet Performance Artist, and the "character" that we know was Jerboy is just a figment of someone's bored or warped imagination.

as much as i enjoy spending my time here at ATOT, remember Jerboy...it's just a computer forum....either find another one or go out and get some fresh air. Its a grey subject in the US anyhow, unless you distribute it. I dont think there was any mention of distribution. At worst you violate the DMCA. They could also accuse you of "fair use" which is a bad term to media corporations

Did you read that crap on his complaining page? He posts a link to a list of "Moderators" here at AT, he basically just picked a couple of elite members, and said they were moderators, no backing evidence, nothing. Then he complains that a moderator called him a sick idiot, cry me a river. Finally claims that Red Dawn is hacking user accounts on other forums with his "Moderator Access" to passwords, LOL. Also since I did not see his comment in the thread I can't know for sure if his account is anywhere near accurate.

Finally claims that Red Dawn is hacking user accounts on other forums with his "Moderator Access" to passwords, LOL.

I don't know who it was, but I've had this done to me on another forum as well. The only relation to that other forum and my account being hacked was the password I used to use on this one and that one were the same. I changed my password but thought it was a pretty lame and childish thing for someone to do. Especially since we're supposed to "respect" them and all.
