You know I was thinking about this. I had an emergency problem and was in the hospital for 3 weeks with no contact to my online "friends." At the time I was in an active Everquest guild raiding a lot. When I came back it was like I was never gone lol. On the guild's forums there was not a peep like "hey where did Bobo go." . That's just the way it is online sometimes. Wonder how many Facebook pages of dead people people still post on.

Be nice if there was a way to leave a contact for an emergency where a mod or like could find out if this person has passed or just moved on to let the membership have some closure. I would sign in for this.

Or even an app that would send out a message to all places you visit either activated by a trusted friend or relative.
