What happened to AMD's All-In-Wonder?

I've been looking at buying and All-In-Wonder but I CAN'T find them anywhere. If anyone knows why this is PLEASE tell me! Thank you.

You're not missing much. Install and updating half a dozen drivers for those cards was a chore!
 
All I used to buy were AIW cards. Then I switched to separate video card + TV tuner / FM tuner / hardware decoder. I think it's much better to use a higher end card + something like a Theater 650 Pro. unless you're using a SFF PC like a Shuttle XPC.

I'm sorry, I was thinking of the Theater 550. The ones made my PowerColor, Sapphire, etc. all come with remotes. Not sure if the 650 does.

Maybe I will have to contact those places. The thing is, I am not sure I should even bother trying to buy one If AMD is going to release a better AIW, and thats why they're not restocking them
 
Not all of them have remotes, and the ones that do are being sold by strange companies (like 110220volts.com). So I don't really care to trust them.

I would assume there will be new AIW cards based on the upcoming R600 chipset, but nothing has been announced yet.

I'm not sure why the cards are OOS everywhere. I can't seem to find any information on why they are unavailable.
 
There most likely will be another AIW, but why are they all out of stock if they are releasing another? This never happened before? And, I also couldn't find why they are unavailable, that's why I came here.
 
I'm surprised no one has told you that ATI has discontinued the AIW series in favor of developing the theater cards. The AIW X1900 is the last AIW card that will be released.

By the way, if you can find a X1800 XL AIW they OC and in general perform a bit better than the X1900.
