I was in IRC when this box popped outta nowhere. Can someone tell me how someone was able to spam this thru my desktop?

Are you on Win2k or XP? That looks like the prompt that comes up when someone uses netsend. Maybe someone else that knows a little more about it can confirm this, but it looks like someone used netsend to send you some spam.

Mark, u gotta know their IP.

it goes like this:

run > cmd

type ~~> net(space)send(space) (IP ADDRESS GOES HERE)(space)(message goes here)

example: net send 192.168.1.1 Whats Up fo0l?!
