His friends aren't going to keep track of how many drinks he's had in a little notebook. They'll look at him, and see how he's acting, and if he's drunk, they shouldn't let him drive.

you dont have to blow over the legal limit to be arrested for dui. you just have to appear impaired by the cops observation. you can be arrested for dui and blow 0.0, all you have to do is appear impaired. doesnt have to be alcohol. getting pulled over late at night with a flush face will arouse a cops suspicion. of course, being arrested doesnt mean convicted, but its not worth the risk anyway.

in fl, anyway. im sure laws vary by state.

i agree. but the cops may not know that. is it really worth the risk over one beer and one shot? why even bother if you know you have to drive.

Yea. What about the night you drink a little more, in a little less time? You might not be 'drunk', but do you realize how low a .08 is? Hell I wouldn't consider myself 'drunk' until .15. Doesn't mean you can't get a DUI.

yes, dont really feel like arguing/discussing about this - just saying how any other person without the flush could be MORE drunk than "flush him" and people would let the non flush drive.
