one can of beer and one shot later, asian flush kicked in, so my face was all red.

2 hours later, everyone still thought you were drunk and they wouldn't let you drive home either....:|

the sad thing was I was never drunk to begin with.

start being a complete dick and later blame it on being drunk. Might as well ride the wave

Ha ha, silly east Asian people. When will you realize that the glow is an indication that you and drink don't get along? :) Seriously tho, i've met maybe 1 or 2 oriental people who can hold their drink for more than like 4 beers/shots. I agree with JoeKing tho. Start doing and saying completely stupid things (or things you've always wanted to say) and then throw in a public urination there for effect. Just say you forgot everything and blame it on the drink the next morning.

I'm Asian, and I can handle at least 7 shots of vodka before getting buzzed...and I don't suffer from the glow at all, silly genetics.

Here's an idea: Find another way home, and thank your friends later for trying to save your life.

You still looked drunk. Maybe you weren't that tme, but NEXT time when you ARE drunk, and you still think its ok to drive, then you'll understand.

I know Asian people. I'm aware of the 'flush'.

I don't think YOU understand. They weren't necessarily keeping tabs on how much you were drinking. Fact is, if YOU look drunk, and they stop you from driving, they're doing you a favor. End of story.

i totally understand, im against drinking and driving. but he only had 2 drinks and 2 hours later he should be allowed to drive home.
i know i would be pissed off if someone told me i was too drunk to drive when i was totally 'sober' to be able to drive.

i suffer from this flush too and it sucks because of how people look at u because of this flush thing.

edit: know your limit, be good to drive.
i've never wanted to drive/never will drive if i know im drunk.

Don't look at it from your perspective. Look at it from your friends' perspsective. You look drunk. Thus they shouldn't let you drive. They wouldn't be very good friends if they did. Plus, i can assure you from experience, you do not know when you are sober enough to drive.

look at it from 'his' perspective...he's a mild drinker...knows his limits. does not like to get sh*tfaced. he has a couple drinks. 3-4? wants to drive home after 3-4 hours of partying...he should totally be allowed to drive home.
